Door and Carcasse Materials and Finishes

This door will be used for lower units in the wall run of units, including the dishwasher door.

This door will be used for higher wall run units.

This door will be used for the side-by-side fridges as handles will be required to provide the leverage needed to overcome the vacuum resistance of the fridge doors. This door will also be used on the seating side of the island, and fitted with push-to-open mechanisms.

Lower units will be made using SmartFrames, to provide the flood resilience that's required. Upper units will be made from birch veneer stained boards, to provide a clean aesthetic.

This door finish represents the finish of the internal cabinet finish, for cabinets made from wood veneered OSB board.

This washable fibre mat will be supplied for all drawers.

Handles

Handles will be required for the side-by-side fridges. This is because the J-Pull doors can only have an integrated handle at the top, or the bottom.

Push-to-open mechanisms are advised for the cupboards under the island, on the seating side.

Appliances

The following set of appliances are mainly aligned with the concept design produced by Susun.

The Caple wine cooler has been swapped for a Dunavox model. This is because the Caple wine cooler requires an additional framed door. This is not available in the Miinus range.

A Smeg integrated dishwasher has been specified as it can be lowered to 50mm.

The Liebherr fridge model has been swapped for the IRe 4100 model. This model is fully integrated and 122cm tall.
