Concept Illustration of Larger Sustique Stand
This Matters To Your Project
Designing a kitchen is one of the most important stages of any self-build, renovation project, or home improvement.
Sustique is expanding its presence at the NSBRC with a larger, fully functioning kitchen display, created to help you make better decisions at the point where they matter most.
Installation of our new fully functioning Puustelli Miinus kitchen demonstrator starts on 5 May, and it will be completed by the May show, running on Friday 15 May, and Saturday 16 May.
In addition, we have taken the small pod next to our new stand. This will be showcasing the Miinus bathroom cabinet.
A Different Approach to Kitchen Design
Most kitchens are designed around how they look. At Sustique, we focus on how they perform over time, as well as looks..
This means considering not just layout and aesthetics, but also material choices, indoor air quality, durability, and what happens at the end of a kitchen’s life.
It’s a more informed approach, one that supports both your project and the environment.
What You’ll Find on the New Stand
Our new display brings this thinking to life through a fully functioning kitchen environment.
Visitors to the NSBRC will be able to explore:
- Low-emission cabinetry designed to support healthier indoor air quality.
- Durable material choices selected for long-term performance.
- Circular design principles that allow kitchens to be adapted, repaired, and ultimately reused.
Whether you’re at an early concept stage or refining your plans, our stand is designed to help self-builders, renovators, and home improvers ask the right sustainability questions.
Too many kitchen decisions are made too late in a project, when layouts are fixed, and options are limited.
Our new display is designed to support earlier, more informed decisions, where better outcomes are achievable.

Living Our Sustainability Values
Our new display will feature a blend of cabinetry from our first stand, and new painted cabinetry. Some of the cabinetry has been assembled and disassembled multiple times. Some elements have also been modified. This serves to demonstrate the modular nature of Puustelli Miinus. The new cabinetry will use SmartFrame 2.0, released earlier this year. It's Miinus circularity in action.
And Not Forgetting - The Bathroom Cabinet
Our expansion at the NSBRC goes beyond a larger kitchen display. We've taken a small pod next to our new stand. This will feature the Puustelli Miinus Bathroom Cabinet. Same innovative SmartFrame technology, but designed for bathrooms. It's the first opportunity for us to display this. Visitors to the NSBRC will be the first in the UK to see this product up close.
The bathroom innovation includes a new SmartFrame size and side panels made from the same bio-composite material as the SmartFrames. This makes the cabinet highly moisture-resistant. Perfect for steamy and wet environments, like bathrooms.

Investing in Projects - Available From 1 May
We've learned that costs are a constant pressure point for project owners. Doing kitchen design at the right time saves cost pain later. To support projects engaging at the right stage, we’re introducing a design incentive.
When you proceed with our paid design service, we will credit up to £2,000 towards your kitchen order, depending on the scale of your kitchen project.
We will also hold your cabinetry costs for 12 months, providing you with certainty, particularly if you longer build timelines.
This promotion is designed to give you confidence to engage earlier, when better decisions can still be made.
We're testing this incentive. It will run from 1 May 2026 to 31 July 2026. Sadly, capacity means it can only apply to four design projects a month, making it available to a maximum of 12 projects.
