Find Us on Stand 162
We’re excited to confirm that Sustique will be at the Festival of Sustainable Homes at the NSBRC in Swindon on 16–17 May 2025. You’ll find us on Stand 162, where we’ll be showcasing a Japandi-styled Miinus kitchen — the perfect blend of Scandinavian simplicity and Japanese calm, designed with sustainability at its core.
The Festival of Sustainable Homes is one of the most forward-thinking events on the self-build and renovation calendar, bringing together eco-conscious homeowners, architects, and product innovators for two inspiring days.
Talk: Why Materials Matter in Kitchen Design
As part of the show’s Sustainability Theatre programme, our co-founder Mark Byers will be speaking on Friday 16 May at 3:00pm. The talk — titled "Sustainable Kitchens: Why Materials Matter" — will explore:
The environmental impact of common kitchen cabinet materials.
How new alternatives like the Miinus bioframe are rethinking what we make kitchens from and why.
What to consider when choosing cabinetry, worktops, appliances, and more... if you want to be more environmentally considerate.
Whether you're planning a self-build, deep renovation, or simply want to make better material choices, this talk is a great place to start.
What You'll Find At Our Stand
As well as being able to see and touch our Japandi styled Miinus kitchen we'll also have Tony Lonnqvist with us from Puustelli, who make the Miinus kitchen. This means you can come and talk to the person who's been central to the research and development of the Miinus system.
Miinus - Next Steps
We're really excited about the next chapter of the Miinus story and we'll be using the Festival of Sustainable Homes show as the event where we reveal what's coming next.
Advance Book Your Free Tickets
Tickets to the show are free if booked in advance, otherwise entry is £12. See you there.
